News Business and Charity Grants Available

Businesses and charities can apply for grants of between £2,000 and £8,000

The grants, from Sevenoaks District Council, allow businesses to purchase fixed assets for long-term use. To apply, businesses and registered charities must have been established for at least three years and they must meet the grant criteria. This includes having a positive impact on the environment, increasing efficiency, creating and safeguarding jobs and increasing customers.

Sevenoaks District Council’s Cabinet Member for Improvement and Innovation, Cllr Michael Horwood, says: “These grants are a great opportunity for local businesses and charities, located in Sevenoaks District, to invest in their operations.

“This could include buying new equipment and machinery, upgrades and improvements to buildings and much more.

“We’re urging eligible businesses and charities to read the guidance carefully and make sure they have all the supporting documents before starting their application.”

Visit www.sevenoaks.gov.uk/improvementgrant for more information and to apply.

Applications are open until 28 February 2025 or until all the funding has been allocated.

The grants are being funded by UK Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).
