Inspired by Multiple Sclerosis

Heather Russell-Kaye from Hildenborough has told West Kent Radio how doctors repeatedly failed to recognise her symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis.

Heather had to pay for a private doctor to confirm her condition after she managed to self-diagnose.

Heather has now written a book "Whispers Through the Forest", which is a collection of fairy tales inspired by life with chronic illness.

She says it's about both the tricky times and finding hope and happiness.

She was interviewed live on West Kent Radio Drivetime with Zac Daunt-Jones and she began by telling him how she discovered she had Multiple Sclerosis in her early twenties. Listen back to the interview here:

All profits are going to three charities: MS Society UK, Multiple Sclerosis Trust, and Shift.MS

Heather works as an actor and teacher.
