Alan Rustad has had a career in journalism taking in broadcasting with BBC and ITV, as well as print with newspapers and magazines. He was for 12 years the lead presenter of ITV Wales nightly news programme."
West Kent Breakfast features two musical birthday songs from artists celebrating a birthday on that day in the second hour of the programme. In the final hour we have our "Forgotten Favourite" where we play a song you might not have heard for many years - but wished you had!
On Fridays, it's Brian Johnson rounding up the week. His show includes a summary of the big local news stories of the past week at about 8.30am.

Brian grew up in West Kent and began his career as a Kent & Sussex Courier reporter.
He then worked as a magazine editor and communications specialist. He has a deep love for our area and is delighted to, once again, be involved in our local media.
