Weekend Local Sport Preview

A brief summary of what sport to expect locally

FOOTBALL

Tonbridge Angels
 are away on Saturday to Aveley in the National South League with kick-off at 3 p.m.

Rusthall FC take on Punjab United from Gravesend in the next round of the Emirates FA Cup preliminary round. The match is at the Jockey Field Stadium on Saturday. Neither side have met before, but the winner of this tie either equals their best FA Cup-run (that’s Rusthall by the way) or sets their best cup-run (Punjab).

Meanwhile in the same round, Sevenoaks FC are home to Leatherhead.

Tunbridge Wells FC are at home to Glebe FC at home, from 3 p.m.

Looking ahead to Monday and Tonbridge Angels U18’s open their league account as they host Glebe FC in the Isthmian Youth League. Kick-off at 7:45 pm.

Sevenoaks Vine1st XI take on Beckenham A.

Tunbridge Wells Cricket Club 1st XI take on St.Lawrence & Highand Court 1st XI on Saturday from noon.

BOWLS
Tonbridge Bowling Club
have both a men’s and women’s match against Borough Green in the Millennium League. Home fixture from 2:30 p.m.

The Grove Bowling Club in Tunbridge Wells have a home friendlies against Horam on Saturday and East Grinstead on Sunday.
