Tunbridge Wells Collision, Witnesses Sought

Incident in June 2021

An appeal has been issued for witnesses to a serious collision near Tunbridge Wells.

The incident, which involved a blue Mazda MX5 and a pedestrian, happened on Langton Road near its junction with Dornden Drive, at around 10.30 pm on Friday 18 June 2021.

Injuries

The pedestrian, a man in his 30s, and the Mazda driver were taken to a local hospital for medical attention.

It was later found the pedestrian had suffered serious injuries to his head and one of his legs that will require ongoing specialist treatment.

Investigating officer, PC Oliver Evans said: ‘While enquiries were completed following the incident and officers spoke to a number of potential witnesses, the seriousness of the injuries means we are now appealing for anybody who has not yet spoken to police to contact us.
‘We would particularly like to hear from anybody who saw the car and the pedestrian in the moments leading up to the collision.’
