A charge of three counts of burglary

A volunteer from the Special Constabulary has helped with the arrest of a suspected burglar charged with carrying out three break-ins in just two hours in Tunbridge Wells.

It is reported that between 12 am and 2 pm on Wednesday 14 July 2021, homes were targeted in Lansdowne Road, Albion Road, and St James’ Road. Possessions including a wallet, bank cards. phones and a laptop were all alleged to have been stolen.

Search

Police were called to the area at around 12.50 am and a search was assisted by a police dog unit and a special constable. This led to the arrest of a suspect and a number of items were recovered nearby.
