New Business ARG Grants Open

Aimed at pubs and events venues, new funding is available

Tunbridge Borough Council has announced two new Additional Restriction Grant (ARG) schemes which are now open for applications.

The first is for Wet-led pubs and bars with limited outdoor space that were not able to re-open on 12 April 2021.

Second is the Cultural Event Venues Fund for businesses impacted by the delayed opening on 22 June.

In both cases, there are eligibility criteria to be met and the closing date for applications is 5 pm on Friday 16 July 2021.

The Council is currently preparing an ARG Hardship Fund scheme for businesses that have not been in receipt of funding recently. They are intending to launch this grant the week commencing 12 July 2021.
