Holiday Fraud on the Up

If the offer is too good to be true . . .

. . . the chances are, it is.

The Kent Police Economic Crime Unit are warning that with half term upon us, that an increase in fraudulent holiday offers has been seen.

Fraudsters and scammer are offering people last minute trips at very low prices and they are bogus. The scammers will take your money, even just a so-called deposit to secure and that is the last you will see of them.

Using a traditional travel agent or respected holiday provider via their website, will give peace of mind and avoid your bank account being emptied through a fraudulent transaction.

The mantra of ‘if it look to good to the true, it isn’t true’ is the watchword.
