Fuel Prices Hit Highest This Century

West Kent driver will need deeper pockets

Petrol and diesel prices across West Kent have hit record prices ahead of the weekend.

As half term starts and families travel for a break, drivers will have look deeper in to their pockets as prices for E10 petrol reached as high as 146.9 in some garages. For those with older cars needing E5 petrol, 156.9 is the new level.

While some stations, often at supermarket sites are seeing lower prices, it is expected that motorways will be much higher.

As gas prices continue to rise and the threat of 5% inflation, times will be tight for some West Kent residents.
