Five arrested within 20 minutes of Hadlow break-in

Police were called to a vacant property in Maidstone Road

Response officers have arrested five suspects within 20 minutes of an attempted burglary in Hadlow.

At 9.05pm on Tuesday 9 July 2024, police were called to a vacant property in Maidstone Road.

Patrols had attended the scene by 9.20pm and quickly detained two of the men.

A further two suspects were caught following a foot chase by a pursuing officer.

Enquiries then led to the discovery of two vehicles which police are linking to the break-in, before a fifth suspect was arrested close to where one of them was parked.

All five were taken into custody on suspicion of burglary.
