Paddock Wood Town Council will be planting trees as part of the Queen’s Green Canopy initiative. Plantings will take place at Foalhurst Wood, Putlands and outside the Day Centre. Locals can request to receive one or more saplings to plant, by applying through the Tunbridge Wells council website.

The Sevenoaks Business Awards will take place in March 2022. Planning for the event is underway and the judges have been appointed. There are seven awards, including Independent Retailer of the Year, New Business of the Year, and one for Micro Business of the Year.

A joint bid by the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce and the University of Kent, as resulted in receiving over half a million pounds from the Government Community Renewal Fund. West Kent small businesses will be able to benefit from the fund, by taking steps towards tackling climate change.

In local sport and Tonbridge Angels Acemdmy Squad two, lost 3 - 1 away to Dover. The academy elite squad had a better home game against Charlton Trust, with a 6 - 1 win.
