Discovering Sissinghurst Castle

The beautiful Sissinghurst Castle in Kent is hoping to attract local families over the school holidays with its "summer of fun".

There are entertainments for children based on the history of the site, which started as an Elizabethan Manor House before becoming a famous garden drawing visitors from all over the world.

Martin Webber spoke to Eve Lynn Brogan of the National Trust who is organising events every day, which include bean bag throwing, archery and a tournament. Plus there is the facility to move events indoors in bad weather.
