Improving Body and Mind

Anne Whitley has been organising yoga and pilates classes at the Boundes Studio in Bidborough since 2006.

Anne tells West Kent Radio that yoga can help us stay strong balanced and calm.

She explained to Liz Barnes that she took up yoga after a back injury, when she realised her core was not very strong.  She says: "We found a teacher and used an old garage space in the house and that was the beginning."

Anne Whitley continued: "I've noticed People who keep moving, balancing and stretching and strengthening... and listening to their bodies are happier and more connected people. Yoga is about the body and it's also about the mind."
