An art exhibition has opened in Tunbridge Wells, with paintings, drawings, ceramics and crafts on display all produced by local people.
The exhibition is at the Amelia Scott in the centre of the town and is called 'Your Work Here'.
There are 396 exhibits from artists in the TN local area.
There was no judging panel to sift entries. Some items are for sale.
The works come from both established artists and first time exhibitors.
West Kent Radio's Mary Whitlock heard from curator Helena Copsey how so many artists came to put their works in for the exhibition - which runs to June 1st 2025. You can listen to her 4 minute interview report here:
The Amelia says on its website: "Our ambition with this exhibition is simple: we want to offer a chance for artists and makers living locally to exhibit their creative work. We also want you, our visitors, to see their work and be inspired by the wealth of skill, ideas, and creativity that exists on your doorstep".
The public is being asked to vote for a People's Choice Award. The winner of the award will win a voucher to be used in support of their creative practice.
