The candidate for the Social Democratic Party in Tonbridge is Ian Grattidge
Ian Grattidge is a retired accountant who has recently worked as a trustee for a Housing Association.
He explains to our reporter Julia Neal that the SDP is proposing a weakening of targets to cut UK carbon emissions, combined with more nuclear power stations.
His party also wants to nationalise key industries such as water, railways, gas and electricity.
On immigration, the SDP wants to train workers in the UK instead of bringing new workers into the country from abroad.
