If you find it difficult to use public transport and taxis to access medical or social appointments such as hospitals, day centres, surgeries, hairdressers, opticians and shopping, then Dial 2 Drive can help.
Our friendly drivers are volunteers. They use their own cars and give up their time to support the local community. You will have the reassurance of a named, reliable driver (insured and DBS checked) who can safely and efficiently take you to your appointment and return you to your home.
We are always on the lookout for more drivers to join our friendly team and help us support more people through the scheme. If you are qualified to drive, have your own reliable car, are sociable and can offer a few hours each week or month, we’d love to hear from you. Our volunteers find it a very rewarding role and it can be flexible to suit your other commitments.
